I've always been a curious person, especially when it comes to science. In particular I love light effects: to me it's quite magical that light can be projected, reflected, diffracted, etc.. Nature does all that in a very spectacular fashion (think of rainbows) and mankind has always been fascinated by it.

I have the habit of doing little experiments in my spare time, and some time ago I came up with an idea: what if we combine two distinct physical effects which both play with light? At first the result was underwhelming, but I kept working on it. Finally, when I put together the right tools, I produced a satisfying (although unexpected) outcome: all you need is a dark room, and this simple yet surprising lamp will cast forms and colours on your wall. Purple islands, yellow continents, green oceans; I discovered worlds that I couldn't even imagine before, and if you are a curious person, so can you!
